University of Wisconsin Alumni chapters across the country participate in Wisconsin Alumni Associations (WAA's) Matching Dollar Scholarship Program, dedicated to providing scholarships to deserving local students attending UW-Madison. The program, developed by WAA and funded by the UW Foundation, matches donations from local alumni and friends, up to $10,000.

The WAA - Seattle Chapter generate donations for our local scholarship fund from raffle tickets and a modest ticket price for our annual summer picnic. If you would like to donate to the fund separately please go to the UW Foundation site and select "Seattle WA/WAA - Seattle Chapter Matching Scholarship Fund" from the drop down menu.

You can also mail donations locally to P.O. Box 1480, Lake Stevens, WA 98258. Please make checks payable to the "Rain City Badgers".

The WAA - Seattle Chapter have developed and funded, entirely through alumni donation, an active participation in this scholarship program that annually awards deserving UW-Madison students from the Puget Sound area. Some of the recipients in the past have been:
