The WAA - Seattle Chapter is the official University of Wisconsin Alumni Association club for the Puget Sound region. We are an organization with over 1000 participants, from over 5000 Wisconsin Badger Alumni in the Puget Sound area, involved in a wide variety of club activities, events and community service. There are no member dues, our primary goal is socializing with fellow Badgers and friends, not fund raising. The following are our upcoming events:

March 2009 - March Madness
We will be gathering to watch the Badgers in this years NCAA Basketball Tournament as usual, should they get an invitation. Check back here for more details in March.

April 18, 2009 - Founders Day
Please save the following date for Founders' Day 2009, Saturday evening, at Redhook Brewery. Bob Golden and Shannon Kenney have accepted a request to be the speakers for the 2009 WAA Seattle Alumni event. Shannon is not only a physician and chaired professor with a practice in immunology (infectious diseases), but is a respected cancer researcher as well. She is a "cutting edge" researcher and one of the few female medical faculty members, and is the university's leader in medical, public health, and research initiatives .
