The WAA - Seattle Chapter 2004 and 2005 Scholorship Fund was awarded to Celeste Hunter. She has sent us the following notes.

I want to thank you for your continued support of my graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for the 2005-06 school year. Your gift has helped me more than you know, for I am paying over $11,000 in out of state tuition. As you know, I am currently doing my final full-time internship at the University of Washington Medical Center as a Rehabilitation Counselor (one of the first from the UW-Madison). My internship involves assisting acute and chronically disabled individuals get back to their lives, community, and work. The experience working with the University of Washington staff and patients has enriched my skills and compassion as a Professional Counselor and as an individual. I love being back in Seattle (even with the rain) and enjoy applying all of the extensive knowledge that I acquired at the UW-Madison. Your contribution has helped me achieve this feat and I am most grateful. Now, I just need a job after I graduate at the end of this semester! Wish me luck.

I have also been meaning to attend some of the Badger games with you all at the Mustard Seed, but have to wait until the semester is over-Along with the 40 hour per week internship, I am also taking statistics and abnormal psychology. Busy semester, will be happy to meet you all after the first of the year.

Thanks again for you generous contribution. It has really made a worthwhile difference in my graduate school experience.

I am so please to have received your funding towards my Rehabilitation Psychology Studies at the University of Madison-Wisconsin starting this upcoming Fall.
