The WAA - Seattle Chapter is the official University of Wisconsin
Alumni Association club for the Puget Sound region.
We are an organization with over 1000 participants, from over 8000
Wisconsin Badger Alumni in the Puget Sound area, involved in a wide
variety of club activities, events and community service. There are no
member dues, our primary goal is socializing with fellow Badgers and
friends, not fund raising. The following are our upcoming events:
July 10, 2009 - Annual Mariner Game
This year's Mariner baseball outing will be a joint event with the local
Purdue Alumni Club. July 10th, a Friday evening, game time 7:10pm,
against the Texas Rangers.
Tickets are only $11 for the game, or $35 for the dinner/game combo, please
make checks payable to the Rain City Badgers.

July 19, 2009 - Big 10 Emerald Downs Event
Big 10 Alumni Groups in the Pacific Northwest are having a Day at the Races
Event at Emerald Downs, Saturday, July 19th. The package includes:
Barbecue Buffet, Admission, Program, Tip Sheet, Coffee, Iced Tea,
Water, Seating in a private tent just for the Big Ten Group,
Access to Children's Activities in the Park, Visit by a handicapper (Fan Educator) to help with betting, and
access to private bar. Cost is $35.00 per adult/$17.50 per child (kids under 5 are free).
Additional Family Day activities scheduled include: Pony Rides, Face Painters, Animal Show, and Lazer Tag.

August 15, 2009 - Annual Beer 'n Brat Fest
This year's picnic will be held at
Vasa Park on Lake Sammamish from 2:00pm to 7:00pm.
This is by far the biggest and most popular event of the year so be sure not
to miss it. New this year we are going to have Peak's Frozen Custard for all
to enjoy, included in the admission price.
